Eon is looking to hire an experienced Healthcare Saas Information Security Officer in our Glendale office.  We are seeking an IT professional with cloud security and audit experience, preferably in the US healthcare domain, to lead our compliance process.  This is an internal and external leadership role requiring the ability to implement and review cybersecurity protocols as well as to create policies and procedures that are in compliance with global security standards and ensure business continuity.

The job

As our Information Security Officer, you will be working as part of Eon’s Security team driving all information security and GRC (security governance, risk and compliance) initiatives. You will ensure Eon’s documentation and security policies are audit ready for external businesses and clients wanting to onboard Eon’s platform. You will be a core part of our team and will be responsible for driving internal and external Security Compliance. You will represent the company in audits.  You will also work with our DevOps and other teams to prioritize detection and protection against known security issues to ensure business continuity. Collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders both internally and externally will be essential.  To succeed in this role, you need an ability to communicate across all levels, a continuous improvement and learning mindset, experience as an Information Analyst or Information Security Officer, knowledge of the SaaS and Healthcare domains, and a deep understanding of the information security processes and tools.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Computer Information Systems or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience as an Information Security Analyst, preferably in the US Healthcare environment
  • 2+ years experience as an Information Security Officer, preferably in a US SaaS Healthcare company;
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), ITIL Foundation or other security certification/accreditation strongly preferred
  • History of successful security audits, including SOC2 and/or FedRAMP
  • Working knowledge of information security and compliance-related disciplines to include:
    • information security
    • business continuity/resumption planning
    • disaster recovery planning and testing
    • IT service management
    • risk analysis and auditing
  • Thorough understanding of various Security Program and Risk Frameworks
  • Thorough understanding of HIPAA implications to data protection
  • Experience developing, maintaining and implementing an ISMS
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying policies, standards and procedures
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
